Autumn Term: African Drumming
In Year 1 our musicians have been using 'bug rhythms' to secure an understanding of rhythm and pulse. Through our topic of African Drumming children have been able to use tuned and untuned percussion to play short ostinatos, leading to the initial sight reading of music.
